Stockburger Custom Aquarium

After moving back stateside, the Stockburgers resurfaced their fish tank from storage in order to once again pursue their passion for exotic fish. Without a cabinet for the glass tank, they asked that we help them to create a wooden stand and lid that matched the exquisite look of their cosmopolitan home.

Sized to fit their six-foot fish tank, we designed a beautiful cabinet that included the woodworking details that matched their style. The hinged lid allows for easy access for feeding and cleaning, and the four cabinets provide ample space for storing supplies. Finally, the piece is finished with a black stain and glossy finish that allows the gorgeous red oak woodgrain to catch the eye as the centerpiece of the home’s entryway.
